How to Know What You Do Matters

self-image, self-esteem, encouragement, Christian

Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or a cubicle employee, it’s sometimes hard to see the importance of your work.

Caroline of Under God’s Mighty Hand shares three ways we can know that what we do matters:

  1. Is the intent love? Whatever you’re thinking, does it model love, give love, shine love? That action could be a small as holding the door open, but it is loving, do it.
    “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” – John 15:12
  2. Does it build up the body of Christ? Our actions both present examples of faith to observers and can support members within the body of Christ.
    “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” – Ephesians 4:16 {Click here to read the third way to know you matter.}

Have an Inspired Day by reminding yourself that what you do matters.

You are Christ’s body—that’s who you are! You must never forget this. 1 Corinthians 12:27

  1. i am convinced we are all gifted and talented in different ways for different purposes. I pour into your life with what God has given me and visa versa. no one is insignificant and unimportant (see Kari’s blog today). :)
